Sometimes the capabilities of the MIS to generate own lists are not sufficient. Then ambitious users should know the way through free database queries.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Learning the possibility to freely query BRZ database tables via Excel.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Please use modern browsers such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome for using the learning environment, as older browsers like Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer may not display current websites correctly or may show errors.

Attention: A speaker or headphones are required to participate. Participants who want to actively follow the exercises need a second screen and access to their own BRZ software environment.

WEB SOFTWARE TRAINING

Data Protection/Technology
With the web software training, the BRZ Academy provides you as part of a web seminar with a virtual machine containing the BRZ software. Apply the knowledge gained in the web seminar immediately in the virtual live system.

The web seminar is conducted using Microsoft 365 Teams. If you do not use Teams, the meeting can simply be accessed via your internet browser (e.g., Chrome). In this case, you do not need a Teams license.

Communication between participants and instructors takes place verbally and via chat. By clicking the participation link, you accept that other participants in the discussion can see the name you provided and – if you activate your camera – your image will also be transmitted.
A speaker or headphones are required for participation. Participants who want to actively follow the exercises need a second screen.

Rules of Conduct
To ensure a productive meeting for all involved, we ask for fair play and adherence to some proven discussion rules:

  1. Please mute your microphone when you do not have a contribution to make.
  2. Please use the "raise hand" function to signal that you wish to speak. The instructor can then establish an order and give you the floor.

USAGE OF THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT 

Access to the Learning Environment
Access to web software training and BRZ web seminars is personalized.
This means: A personal email address is required to participate. Upon first participation in BRZ e-learning, you will receive an email with your personal access data to the BRZ Academy learning environment – consisting of a username and an automatically generated password for the first login.

At this first login, you will be asked to replace the password with your own personal password. If you participate in further web software training or BRZ web seminars, your access data to the BRZ Academy learning environment will be saved.

You will receive a second email with information about your registration for the course you booked.

If you ever forget your password, you can reset it and have a new temporary password sent to you. To do this, please visit the website https://akademie.brz.eu.
